There's something wrong with the colour stuff and i dont know how to resolve it so just read on, and read everything, haha.

Hehehehe so am I suppose to keep my list too? haha!

Previously, I saw from a magazine that told you to list out the qualities that you want to look for in your boyfriend, so that when that boy comes along, you will know that he is the one you are looking for.

That lady said she wrote down and not soon after, she found her boyfriend

I didnt quite believe that i would find a boyfriend if i really did that

but i thought it would be nice to set a minimum standard for my boyfriend

so i wrote down several qualities that i want in him

and not soon after, this cute guy below came!!! :D

And yes, he satisfied 90% of the qualities i wanted! :D

lol the other 10% is a bit hard ah, cos it consists of "preferably rich, own big houses and cars, treat me like tai tai"

LOLOL just a dream alright, who doesnt want to be rich haha!!

therefore, he doesnt have to satisfy those haha!!

i'd rather have his love than his wealth, but people will still wish they have both alright? hahaha

yupyup, so if you want a boyfriend, go and try this haha!! :D

One more story.

"Today, my dad is the best dad I could ask for. He’s a loving husband to my mom (always making her laugh), he’s been to every one of my soccer games since I was 5 (I’m 17 now), and he provides for our family as a construction foreman. Certain times I would think, probably these kind of people went through the wrong path, that's why they could pick themselves up.

I thought again.

Precisely because they went through wrong paths, therefore, picking themselves up is harder than normal people. And so you have to applaud and encourage them :)

I always cant help but compare myself to others.

When I see some hot girls down the street, when i see some rich ass spending their money, when i see people with good results, i can totally compare anything and everything

and i am trying to stop now

in this realistic world, people will try to compare you to others without u comparing urself to others

so dont bother about comparing urself, save that for others to help you with

and you know you always hate people doing comparisons

for example, your mother comparing your results to your peers

so why not curb that bad habit first

i might not eradicate that completely, but i'll try to lessen it :)

Cambodia

Helloooo

Suddenly feel like blogging about my Cambodia trip~ :D

Went for a service trip with my friends from my CCA

We visited Siep Reap and Phnom Penh

Cambodia used to be one of the rich countries

In the past century, Cambodia has been through a civil war that has crippled the country and made it into a third world country

You can do your own research haha

It's a loooong story~

This is the stupa that contains the skulls of those who perished

It is located at the killing fields where the Khmer Rouge tricked the civilians there, tortured them and killed them

They killed them brutally, with blunt objects and sharp edges of the trees

The way they kill children is by hitting the babies on the trees

Can you imagine babies being thrown on the trees?

They are just small cute little innocent human beings, just came to earth for just a short period of time and they had to be killed in this manner

There are also large, deep holes to bury those who were murdered

There is this magic tree, where they tied loudspeakers to it and played loud music so that people would not hear the moans of the victims and discover their crimes

Evil.

This is the S11 prison where they held captives.

It was formerly an old abandoned school, thus the school building exterior.

The people set up sharp wired fences to prevent the prisoners from escaping.

This is the interior of the classrooms.

Each classrooms has about 8 small cubicles.

The cubicles are separated by bricks or wooden boards.

The prisoners arre not allowed to make any noise, cry or anything.

The whole thing is covered up and they are faced with nothing but themselves, the guards, fear and solidity.

On top of that, they were being tortured as well.

For the women, some of the methods that they were tortured was having their nipples clamped and pulled, and men had their fingernails pulled out and such.

There were even worse torturing methods and it was really unimaginable.

They displayed the pictures and some remains of the victims in various buildings, making it extra creepy.

This is one of the remaining survivor and he wrote a book about what he has experienced.

We bought the book as he relied on it for living.

He is around 80+ i think.

There's only about 2-3 remaining survivor of the S11 prison.

In Cambodia, you will rarely see elderly around as they were all part of the war period.

If you do see some elderly, they are the survivors of the war!

Of course, the famous wonder of the world, Ang Kor Wat was not to be missed!

The place is huge!!

You can walk until you die, haha.

We travelled around in our coach and visited only about 3-4 temples.

The famous steep steps was out of bound and they build a wooden steps for us to get to the top.

It was a few stories high!

When you look down from above, the people below are like ants

And we've got an awesome tour guide who is a fan of Chris Brown hahaha

Whenever he takes a photo for us, he makes sure that the picture is nice :D

We've also developed some interesting jokes for ourselves there haha :D

This is a temple with twin trees and as you can see in the picture, the roots is all over the temple

They is the reason why we went to Cambodia!

They are my most adorable students!! :D

I'm their facilitator and i love them! :D

They know how to speak a little Thai too!! :D

We went to do road works for them

We have to shovel sand, stones into buckets and transport them to the place where the road is supposed to be built

It's tough work but we enjoyed it too! :D

And we carved our names there :D

BBLC stands for Boys' brigade learning centre and i represented Ngee Ann Boys' Brigade Primers to go over for service learning trip!

BBLC is like a free tuition centre for them to improve their English!

Titanic Exhibition! :D

Okay, since i've got my entire experience of Titanic typed down in my report, i shall blog my report haha!!
No judgements on whatsoever ok!

It was my first time visiting the Arts Science Museum in Marina Bay Sands. I was there for the Titanic exhibition. It was going to be the 100th anniversary of the Titanic after it had first set sail. My uncle used to show me the movie when I was young and I loved to watch documentaries on the Titanic. When the news announced that the Titanic exhibition was coming to Singapore, I knew I had to go.

I went to check out the prices and I realised that it wasn’t as expensive as I had imagined it to be. My gauge was around $35+ but it turned out to be just $20 for the entrance fees. It was a pleasant surprise and thus I visited the exhibition on 28th November 2011, Monday with two of my classmates.

Standing at the doorsteps of Marina Bay Sands, looming ahead of us was the interesting design of the Arts Science Museum. There were 3 permanent exhibitions in the Arts Science Museum. The reason why we hadn’t crossed over to the Arts Science Museum was because it was raining cats and dogs. The bad thing about it was that there weren’t any shelters to the Arts Science Museum. We were still hesitating whether to go under the rain or not. To my surprise, a friendly personnel came over and offered us an umbrella. We were pleasantly surprised by their service. Although they did not have sheltered walkways, they compensated by providing umbrellas to guests.

The moment we stepped into the Arts Science Museum, a huge picture of the Titanic greeted us. We proceeded to the reception to purchase our tickets. The receptionist that served us had very good service attitude. She promoted the documentary on Titanic and asked if we would like to purchase the tickets at $5. Since it was well within our budget and interest, we were up for it. She also gave us a short introduction and recommended where we should start viewing the exhibition from. Based on her recommendation, we proceeded to view the Titanic exhibition first as the documentary would start at a later time. (Additional input: The guy beside her was fiddling with some pen and sitting in an unglamourous position, so unprofessional and contradicting to the whole image!)

At the entrance of the exhibition, a lady gave out tickets with names of unique passengers and profile on it. We were supposed to act like real Titanic passengers and experience the entire life cycle of the Titanic. From how it was built to how the cabins looked like to how it sank. Nearing the end of the exhibition, we were supposed to find out whether we perished in the tragedy. This was a novelty and it kept us in an excited mood to know the outcome.

As we stepped inside, we explored the construction gallery of Titanic. They displayed parts of ships that were retrieved from under the sea.

We then arrived at the Verandah Cafe which displays the dining wares of the former Titanic. They had different grades of dining wares for different classes of cabins. They displayed the menu in frames mounted on the walls. Every dining ware of the Titanic was printed with the cruise company’s logo and the condition of it was well preserved despite lying on the sea bed for so long.

After that, we proceeded to “board” the ship and went through this beautiful first class cabin corridor. It looked very high class and was sparkly white. The corridor even had a very nice smelling scent, which was probably how it smelled like in the past.

After this part of the exhibition, we proceeded over to the theatre to watch the documentary. It was about how the Titanic artefacts displayed was retrieved from the sea. It wasn’t all that interesting initially, but as they slowly lowered the camera onto the seabed and explored the ship, the imagination comes alive. They created images that depicts what the passengers would be doing at that particular area that was now covered with moss and other organisms, making it seem as though we were part of it.

After the documentary ended, we continued with the exhibitions. We stood on the replica of the grand staircase of Titanic and immersed in the grandeur. We were awed by the Titanic’s majesty and elegance. I loved the European decor of Titanic. Even their third class cabins looked spacious and classy. (Additional input: Superstar Virgo is a Sampan compared to Titanic! The third class of Titanic looked so much more spacious than the Inside stateroom cabins.)

The next segment was the boiler room. It was really creepy and the whole environment was so surreal. The room was filled with red lights that was supposed to come from the burning fires. There were the loud sounds of charcoal being shovelled, thrown into the fire and being burnt. There were even real rocks that they placed there to make it more realistic. I remembered a scene from the movies where some of the workers were unable to escape from the ship as the gates were closed. Many of them died in the boiler room. It totally creeped me out and we hurriedly glance through this exhibit.

The next area that we arrived at was the deck of the ship. They were really clever to use mirrors to make it seem as though the corridors were long when it was just a few metres wide. They used small blinking LED lights against a black background to depict the night time. It was at night when the Titanic hit an iceberg.

Next up, the iceberg was displayed. They placed a real block of ice and allowed visitors to touch it. I tried putting my hands of it for more than 10 seconds but failed as it was freezing cold. It was amazing how they managed to get that block of ice in and maintained that temperature. Surprisingly, the environment was around room temperature.

Nearing the end of the exhibitions, we were searching for “our” name on amongst thousands of names on a huge board. Maybe it would create suspense and excitement as to whether we would survive, but it was tough searching for a tiny name amidst that small and cramped font. A suggestion is that they could include interactive screens for guests to search for their names so that it is easier for guests, especially for those elderly guests who have certain eyesight problems.

Overall, the whole experience was very realistic, with all four senses included. I felt that they should include the last sense of taste to make the whole experience complete. A suggestion is that they could probably include a café that sells the food available on board the Titanic. The setting could be like the dining area of the Titanic.
There was also a disappointing thing about the exhibition though, we were not allowed to take photos. It’s a pity as we couldn’t translate the wonderful experience we had there into pictures, but it was still a great and worthwhile experience trying to discover the mysteries of Titanic. And therefore i shall take this chance to announce the arrival of iphone into my life

I still do miss my old phones - the Samsung Jet and Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro
Samsung jet was a phone that my dad had gotten for me and its still functional except that i cant make calls with it
i guess the receptor spoiled
well it contains memories of tian hong and me as well (:

Sony ericsson vivaz pro was quite a nice and useful phone
memories of chionging all my primers stuff
but it died on me.
overworked. haha.

oh well, just too bad then. and then here comes the iphone! wee~
i've been spamming apps downloads, free ones of cos haha
but the thing is, 3/4 of the apps i have not utilised hahaha!
really need to take time to slowly explore and delete unwanted stuff!!

one thing about technology is that although u build up knowledge, u also build up lotsa online rubbish!!!
online rubbish is really those useless websites, useless words that you say, useless thoughts, useless whatever lar~
like i dont have enough in reality -.-
and im the kind that cant throw things away
yeah seriously
i keep thinking that it'll be useful in the future when i have got time
but since when do i have time ?!?!?!?! LOOOOOOOL

time management is seriously an art/skill
its really a balancing act, but im bad at balancing ! haha~
and i end up sacrificing my sleep

so i wanna recommend some apps!
here is the top 7 free apps i personally like :D

1) Money
Yeah the app's name is just... money *kaching$$$*
it's an app that lets u manage your finance
u can also set your budget for the month/day
you will have to key in all the money transactions u have had that day
for each transaction, u can include whether u are paying by cash/credit/etc,
which category is the transaction under eg food, entertainment, transport, etc,
then u can add a picture of it from ur album or taking a picture directly,
u can add a description to it, the amount, the date,
set whether there is a repeat of the transaction or not,
and after u have keyed in the transaction, there would be a pie chart showing ur expenses for today and this month!
awesome man!
i used to do it with microsoft excel and it was kinda inconvenient cos u have to use your com everyday and by the end of the day when i use my laptop, i forget about every thing haha
with iphone i can do it right after every money transaction and i wont forget! :D

2) RetroGram
yes people have heard of instagram, so im not recommending that
i like this app! :)
well just another app with camera effects, but nice effects :D

3) FreeAppADay
its an app that will tell u 5 apps that is free for that day
u can send in your wishes and if there is a lot of demand, the app would be free for a day
think so, well i just check to see which free app is nice and then i download lor

4) SG NextBus
i dunno whether there is a better app than this, but this is better than iris
cos it provides bus timing for both smrt and sbs
it may not look that appealing but its simple to use and its fine for me :D

5) Dropbox
Its a must baby! Go download onto your desktop and get your friends to do so! File sharing has never been made easier!
hmm sounds like some tagline yeah? :/

6) Leme Cam
the design is cool :D
got quite a few camera/lens to choose from :)
download all the camera first and then next time u don have to download it again

7) Doodle find
Fine! are u dissatisfied that i havent recommended any games?
cos i dont play games hahahaha!
i rarely touch the games at all!
its more for like letting friends to play hahahaha!
but this game has got me addicted!!
super fun to play with ur friends haha
ipad bigger and better haha!
they would give u a keyword and ask u to find that item
for example, 7 cupcakes
and then u will have to search for 7 cupcakes among all the items while fighting against the time
well its not as easy to spot as u think! even 4 pairs of eyes have lag time haha!

Woodlands waterfront

Went to woodlands waterfront with Jia Hui, You Rong, Ai Ling and Yan Kang today!

ate all the good food like sushi, fried bee hoon, cupcakes, hello panda, the salty childhood crackers haha, prinkles, n drinks woohoo~ :D

so funny hahaha we were sitting like right in front of the swings, out of nowhere haaha, and there were a lot of ants :<

today was quite a successful picnic cos we ate happily haha :)

though as always, failed kite flying hahaha

but it was entertaining seeing yankang running barefooted halfway across the area hahahaha!

and sinyee appearing all over the place with her kite haha :D

played with the swing~

woah so rare that we get to take over the swings haha! most of the time all the kids would be fighting with us haahaha!

okay or more like we fight with the kids la hahaha~

we had our htht after quite some time of not seeing each other haha :D

so nice to chat hours into the night hehe!

we chatted about everything and anything! :P

loads of laughters :)

there was a super cute kid who came and just sat beside me out of a sudden hahaha!

Today is the last day of meet up before we're flying off on Sunday! :D

Before training we went to eat just acia~

Ying ying's tofu looked like scotch brite sponge ahahaha!! XD

then we joked about her eating metal scrub heheheh!

i ate dory fish with cheese

chip gave me ferrero rochea :))

Settled all the stuff and went to eat Rochor tau huay! :)

Woah first time walking into the back alleys haha!

it felt like a scene from some singapore drama or something haha!

there were tables scattered through the back alley and smokers sitting around

we went upstairs and found seats for everyone (:

first time stepping into such a shop house!

the second level looked as though it was a suitable location for illegal gathering haha!

somewhere like those gamblers and gangs would go hahaha

BUT~ no matter who all the profiles are, they all came down to enjoy the famous rochor tau huay~~ :D

haha love it cos it always reminds me of night cycling :)

As you can see, i've been having too much of a good food recently.

This is not good!! because im getting fatter and my darling is slimming down hahaha

he's such a sweet boy hehe! he says he will be my personal trainer or work to let me go slimming centre hahaha!!!!

hao la hao la, i shall eat lesser and exercise more! :)

another thing is im always late recently! for everything!

shall change this bad habit of mine! :<

Through this event, we went from acquaintances to good friends! :D

We had loaaaaads of laughters and jokes!

We always take a very long time to eat cos we'll be laughing and laughing away lah :)

180611 was our first NDP training at marina floating platform! :D

Along with my Super Smart Sotongs, we were feeling excited!

About wad? FOOD!!! hahahahaha~~

First station: Milo truck!

Fourth station: supposedly ice cream but we needed to pay for it so our fourth station is~~ Toilet!

Besides that, we practised our dance and formation, cheered for others while watching their performances.

bought a new organiser for myself and headphones for my bebe at more than words :))

but its alright, i think its quite worth it i guess

i bought tissue from the cute uncle who stands in front of the escalator every single day till very late at night

so stressed nowadays
the usual calm jiamei become so tense
and when she's tense she will disturb others like trying to shake the chairs which will affect other, she will blabber and make noises that disturb others lalalala in particular foong oi and pei yi muhahahaha~
cos they were the onli ones beside me lol
sherly and jing yi both overslept!
the whole lecture had so little people !!!
but it filled in slowly and there were about 1/3 of the lecture theatre filled lol pathetic~
no more "porduct" lecturer today~

had to wear formal wear
my shoes were too big haha !
wore it like slippers, a bit painful
gonna insert the padding in next time
i bought the padding in thailand like 80cents onli ! haha~

went to eat lunch at alumni clubhouse cos i got the membership card which entitles us to 20% off !! :D
suddenly it rained !
and we saw the cutie kitty again !! :D

we went to~~~ SHENG TAO SHA SENTOSA ! :)

we brought our shades along! :)
i've just gotten my contacts 1 or 2 days prior to our anni so that i can give him a mini surprise :)
so we spammed pics all the way~ :D

we went by the broadwalk to sentosa cos i've never tried it hehe !
the theme of sentosa is now paper cranes, to support japan maybe ?!
there's like huge paper cranes and flowers :)

i brought him to my secret hideout haha!
i thought will be quiet and peaceful then i can give him his present but in the end they built a outdoor adventure ground right beside it hahaha
we were watching the people doing some rope courses
there's this little thai kid and i was like shouting to him to go for it hahaha
cos he was a bit scared to jump hehe~

we went for the skyride and luge ride twice! :D
weeeeeeeeeeee~
the first time on the skyride, he gave me a ring as our anniversary present!! :D
then the second time i gave him his hahaha~

there is this rabbit trail!
but the trail has got no link to do with rabbits at all!!! nth to see also haha~

went to watch Songs of the sea!

heyyyyyyyyyyyy!
today is quite a happy day for me ! :D
well first thing first !
i planned my financial budget for today

then i went out to get my skinnys cos my mum likes me in it LOL
bought some stuff for my mum and went to city hall
i've been dying to watch city of angels and tried to find it to no avail :(
(found one on funshion and was like super happy until they spoke chinese -.- !!!)
so i planned to go to HMV or some other shops to check it out :)

so guess wad ?!
tian hong asked me out and told me to meet him at city hall !! :D
we planned to go visit our uncle !! uncle ringo hahahaha !
so i went to HMV to try to look for city of angels while waiting for him to end work
i was even prepared to order it if they didnt have it !! :O
kinda shocked at myself cos i've never felt so desperate to watch a movie haha >.<

i just dont noe why but the show is like... so captivating ?
maybe because of the setting i was in then...
but anyway!! when i tried to spot city of angels, i saw it featured there and was selling for onli $9.95 zomg!!!
hahahahaha buy buy buy! i immediately when to the counter lol~~
i was like thinking it would be $20-30 or more la~ XD
i didnt regretted it although i didnt plan it in my budget :P

its about this angel who fell in love with a human and exchanged immortality to become a human for her
i watched part of it onli hehe, but kinda nice eh
yesssa watching the whole movie tmr ! :))

so i went roaming around~

righttttttttt, shopping centres onli states no pets, no skates/bikes, but didnt say no badminton waaaaaaad hahahahahah !! (Y)~

and baaaack to citylink again haha !
and and and !!! tian hong was craving for sashimi, so he was like thinking about the umi sushi store back in jurong haha~ and the moment he finished his sentence, the escalator reached the upper floor and guess wad?!
umi sushi was right in front of us hahaha!!
i think the logo is damn cute de ! :D

yeaaahhhh so we went in for sushi :)
awwww he treated me to sushi and keep tempting me with the mayonnaise salmon !!!

went to take mrt to sengkang to visit our uncle ringo !!! :DDD
lol looked around to see wad games there were
there was ghost train, mini pirate ship, mini ferris wheels, inflatables and all the kiddy kiddy stuff and stalls hehe, bumper cars ! :D, meteorite (a spinning machine n u have to stand up!!), carousel :D but i didnt try it and have never tried :(
im waiting for a grand one where it looks like me and tian hong stepped out of the movie HAHA !!

on the way home on the bus, i passed by a group of colourful lit carriages, think its chingay people haha

realised i've nv tried a lot of the rides in those fun fair before and now im not eligible for it haha!!
next time when i have kids, i'll bring them there to enjoy and persuade them to take the rides and dun think that its to childish for their age haha !
as long as ur butt fits in u are the age for it !! :P

i rmb a circus came to woodlands once ! and we nearly nearly went to watch it ! but the queue too long we gave up halfway :(
hai, regretting much now cos it seems like lesser fun fairs and circus are coming to singapore, especially woodlands, BUT there lots and lots of pasar malam, especially in woodlands, haha~

ytd was valentines' day !
think quite a lot of ppl must be wondering what i did with tian hong haha !
cos a lot of ppl ask me lol~
hahaha we planned smth but tianhong had smth urgent on so he went back to msia
he was supposed to be back ytd but didnt wad time he would be returning, so i went to celebrate with the primers instead :)

i noe u see tianhong there! HAHA! so read on to find out !!! :P

and my valentines' was very meaningful and sweet !! :D
so i went there and was intending to attend the special friendship program, which was just to have dinner, play some games and watch a movie tgt hehehe :)

funny thing was, i didnt noe wad bus stop i had to alight, i thought i overshot the stop and i just took a chance and said ok i'll alight at the next stop
and guess what? the next stop was TCT already ! :D

reached earlier than expected and met the mentors at the hawker cente first
little baby Deandre was superrrrrrr cute !! :D
he smiled at me whenever i shake my head haha! :DD

went upstairs helping Deandre to take his IC photo haha!
and helped with the setting up as well :)
afterwards i had dinner, which was KFC ! (again) LOL :D

hahaha den just as i finished, galvin came and told me my friend was waiting for me at the lift lobby
i was like.... my friend?
i was contemplating the possibilities of tian hong coming but i thought it was impossible cos i thought he would sms me the moment he reached singapore

ahhhhhhhhhhhhh turns out he was standing there with a flower bouquet and a great smile and i was like hahahaha (<-- yeah i was like laughing and smiling and blabbering LOL ) well yeah i was very surprised !!!! and it's a purple roseeeeeee!

the first icebreaker was to eliminate everyone until the last guy and girl who would become valentine of the week and would be featured on our fb page hahahaha!

the second icebreaker was to answer 5 questions on a paper and the valentine couple would randomly choose some to read out and let ppl guess haha!

the last icebreaker was to unscramble words and the winner will get more snacks for the movie screening hehe
we watched the movie "Letters to god" and it was a very nice, meaningful, and touching movie !
it was about this little kid who had brain cancer and he was a very strong child who wrote letters to god as prayers and he not onli encouraged himself, his family, but he extended his care and concern to all the people he met, like the neighbours and such
generous love! :D
aiyaa go read the review if u are interested la, but i would strongly recommend it :)
i could relate to some parts of the movie and it made me teared :']
in a good way

we were sitting separately and tianhong moved his chair beside me aww :D
and when i thought of tian hong and the flowers i would smile to myself like a retard lol >.<
smile all the way frm movie till home haha!

chinese new year is like the most boring holiday ever
shopping centres all closed, shops all closed, no where to go to, nothing much to do
that is because i cant go visiting this year, so yeah.

havent been home for the entire day for such a long time
i planned to go to today, made lots of plans in my head
and yet i fulfilled none
but i did get to rest and relax at home, just doing things i enjoy

pancakes and sushi~
i made pancakes in the morning
it was sooooo much better than the other time haha!
this time it was delicious and edible :)
last time was delicious but partially edible.. haha!
okay yeah so i ate pancakes for breakfast and made sushi for lunch
meaning to say, i didnt stop eating since morning till afternoon omg
and i prepared more cos i thought somebody would eat it, end up i was alone at home and i didnt go out at all
lol and because im an impatient person, i'll gobble up my food before its even served or ready haha
so yeah, when my pancake was getting cooked, in the meanwhile i prepared my sushi stuffs

2010 CHANGED MY LIFE !!!

Let's recap my life back from end of 2009.

I chose DPA.

I left Marsiling Secondary School.
Everyone going separate ways, missing the structured lifestyle, free time, childish acts, funny moments, flirtatious love, overseas trips and all the teachers especially Ms Ng who mentored us ! :D Mr Seow who felt like a father cos he was kinda similar to my dad. And so many more teachers la heehee. :)

Then begins 2010~
The first life changing moment!!!
DPA~~~!!!
super super love DPA !
like all the cool, fun, crazy, hilarious and all the diverse people inside it !
and the programme itself ! and the bintan leadership camp !!
totally rock my feet off haha .
you know certain things u have to experience it to say good (Y) ! and DPA is like those things.
really feel like elaborating on every single experience but thats equivalent to throwing all the meals i've taken in 2010 out. LOOOOOOOL HAHA~

next up, another life changing moment was *drums roll*~~
meeting Tian Hong ♥ ! hahaha :X

of cos my world changed when he stepped into it heehee
now we're in ♥Loveland, stucked together forever haha ! ><
i know it was fast when we got together haha, but its been 8 months plus and we're still going strong (:
maybe still too early to gauge, but we have our faiths :)
lai lai lelong lelong who wants to buy shades ? hahahaha~

poly life started ! D:
ever since dpa-poly life started, i lost interest in my studies. lol.
except certain modules that i like of cos :))
yeah and when poly life started, things were like DDDD:
dont say Tian Hong made my GPA cui okay .
its because of him that i wanted to go to school hehe !
he taught me certain modules and we stayed in school to do tutorials tgt :)
he's my motivation for school. hehe.

So moving on into Semester 2, he went for attachment, but Foong oi was in my class, and I had adjusted to poly life, so things werent that bad.
This is the real life changer of 2010.
Didnt really announce it or talk much about it, but my dad had cancer and was fighting it for over a year.
He passed away a month ago.
I'm just like a slow processor, or a slow cooker, and im damn damn slow.
The fact never does really sink in after a while.
Im still doubting whether i've really accepted it.
Look at me smile and laugh now, u'll never noe how much it hurts.
You'll never know until u experience it yourself.
Im thankful for Tian Hong all these while, being understanding, caring, loving and my everything ! ♥

I had another motivation for school!
Which is~~~ Primers !!! :DDD
Really love my CCA!! :D
As i've mentioned so many times, primers are a great bunch of people and they're really like a family :)
And all the events gave me so many chances and i did so many things i've never did before ! :DDD
Lots of fun and meaningful activities :)
YUP! hahas.

So many more things happened in 2010.
But I guess i'll just let go of them and let's hope that 2011 is fulfilling and happy and just normal, peaceful..
BUT! my brother and Tian Hong is going to the army soon!!! DDD:

My grandad in thailand is having stroke.
so we're going back in february/march to visit him.

i was telling en ci the difference between primers and non-primers
primers will pay attention to what u are talking about, will support u, encourage u and outsiders may not really care much about what u are saying
maybe thats the case with people that u noe better but well, i feel that primers is like a family ! :))

hiiiii ! havent updaating in like a verrry long time !
cos i've been busy ! busy busy busy ! like super busy ! lol .
yeah hai hao i guess . lol .
so fast november already !!! :O
time really past fast .

hmm im quite at a lost of what to update
so i'll just make things random

during the holidays i went with cheng hian to World Vision Singapore office to volunteer my service for 2 days !
the job is simple, u just have to edit pictures and profiles of the poor children in other countries into templates using photoshop
the purpose is for them to let people sponsor a child !
i met some nice people there :)
i met a lady with the same plight as me and she, her colleague and my friend prayed for me and my family ! :]
the words she spoke were really touching !
i guess onli the people going through the same thing with u will understand ur pain .

and smtimes u just wish someone u love would be able to understand, be able to know how u feel
but sometimes the people that cares about u and loves u arent mind readers, they might not be ultra sensitive individuals, so i guess it just takes understanding on ur part sometimes

and it doesnt ends there !
the next day she even gave me a book and a postcard ! aww ! :)

next up, during the hols i went to work ! :]
yeah, same old sportslink ...
i went back for stocktake ! :)
and it was a new experience hehe

after stocktake, my supervisor, ivan, treated us to swensens! woohoo ! :)
and it was oh so funny ! heehee !
my colleague, this funny guy, decided to sit at my table, which was furthest frm my supervisor haha !
he was talkiing about ordering the most expensive set meal with appetiser and desserts and drinks haha !
and we were wondering what ivan's face would be like LOOOL
then finally he didnt choose the most exp meal of cos, but he still choose steak, which was not very cheap haha !
and we shared appeatiser

i ordered penne, but i forgot to take pict of it, cos mine came last ! :(
well it was a nice meal ! :]

school started already !!
i have life management skills IS on friday 8am !!!
but that's alright, earlier is better i guess, cos u end earlier
he gave us a choice of 9am or 8am hehe.

many said the lesson was boring
well i attended something similar, mindworks, and anyway u'll find a lot of things familiar cos its about ur life !
i didnt find it very boring
i think certain things makes sense :]

well i rmb 2 things that he said
1) suicide
2) things are smaller from an aerial view

1) recently my friend flooding my inbox and told me she wanted to jump cos she might retain, and smtimes the ppl i love tells me they wanna die
like HEY, people who wants to live cant even live and u're telling me u wanna end ur life
yeah so i scolded her haha

den he talked about this rich boy jumping to his death at the age of 17
and he said he pity the boy's parents a lot as they conceived him, they went through so much during the pregnancy period and while he grew up
they provided love, care, comfort and everything they could
and he just wasted their love just like dat
and not to mention the amount of money spent to raise him !

2) things look small from an aerial view, thats because things are far from you.
so disconnected. just like death, others look on and take life and death easily
but when u are the one experiencing it, it feels like ur world is collapsing
-he taught us smth like this in LMS too ! :D
he says to take a break from life and ur problems will seem smaller :)

okay another thing about school is ...
im in the external sub committee for boys brigade share a gift BBSG :]
i think i might be understudy for main comm, i hope ! :DDD
well life is geting really busy and i have many schedule clashes again
so now im weighing the pros and cons of each decision before choosing haha

currently im organising the door to door collection of food donations and we have meetings like every week
and each meeting lasts at least 2-4hrs
and they have agendas and powerpoints for each meeting lol
like big company haahaa XP

went for camphobic on 9th-10th oct ! :)
it was a blast :D
booked in at 7pm, lol sound like army camp huh
sorry influenced by the many army guys inside lol
day 1 was just icebreaking + shower + sleep :]

day 2
icebreakers games~
one game was particularly long
we had to tie up one hand tgt and tht would be the handicapped hand so we cant use tht
i teamed up with galvin, birthday boy ! haha .
not bad ahhh, we worked quite well in building the houses and folding the origami stuffs
i was the "gluer" hahaha
i glued the mags cut outs to the dog-and-bone container lol
i had glue stained on my legs and hands ! :(

lol we kept singing bday songs and wished galvin till he pek cek haha, we prepared a cake during night trail also haha
oh yeah first night we dragged him out of his room, physically dragged lol serious~ jus to sing him a bday song haha !!!
happy birthday la dude ! :)

so after the hse building game we just rush rush rush like maaaaaaaad !!!
ran and ran to the bus stop, gotten our stuffs and bused to rail mall's cold storage to buy dinner lol
and we were like 2nd last or last to reach the outdoor cooking area despite being first to reach cold storage haha !!

the outdoor cooking was at our sec 3 orientation camp dairy farm/bukit timah hill that grasspatch with really beautiful night scene ♥♥♥!!

but the moon didnt appear so yeah, nth much tht night

okay changed my impression of him , he's a nice guy lar, he helped me along the way :)
and ah gong also helped me carry my bag ! thx ar ah gong ! he helped me a bit during the journey too :]
but ah gong can u walk faster or not lol -.-lll
i thought u say u got go for regular run de lor lolzz .

we had to step through mud and water !! oh man !
they call tht the cocoa field hehe
got scratched ! the thorns of the bushes cut into my skin and was stucked there when naijie pulled me to the left while jeffrey pulled me to the right lol .
now i have holes on my arms haha .
but rongkiat grabbed the thorns with his hands leh ! omg pain .

hehehehe anyway ah gong led us to the cleaner path ! :)

heard the mud was like knee deep for them and they had a hard time getting out cos they would sink into the mud haha

but srsly the fireflies were playing tricks on my eyes and i was damn scared of it lol .

during the journey anthony kept wanting to play game hahahaa then he kept running up to the middle to relay the message lol !
so funny we managed to start off some and it slowly faded off haha XP
and woah ! ren bu ke mao xiang man haha ! xiao lu really like xiao lu sia ! she super daring to just fly down the slopes haha .

yup so it was my turn to lead !! :D
i realised ... leading was actually less scarier than standing in between ppl leh haha !
cos when u're at the front, u're focused on the ground and when u're in between ppl, u feel safer and ur mind wanders hehe .
when i was leading, we passed some houses situated in damn random places and near to a pavilion called "dilema"
eeeeeeeeeeyeeeeeeeer so scary !!! dilema ?! :O :(
so i asked kok rui about the house and he said " yeah lor, wonder why they build it thr, so scary.." or smth along the line
me : walau i leading leh !! why u say these :(
lol . but is i stupid right ? i go ask for wad ? why am i always like dat ? haha ......

at first i imagined that there was a water pump or smth inside, then after he said that, im wondering whether its a tomb inside !! AHHHHHHH !!!!! ><
okok moving on~

wellwell we came to a viewing platform ! and had to climb the spiral staircase up~
kok rui said the army guys always comes here to train and they will hate this place lol , giddy one ehh hahas .
watch out arh, hehes !!

okay lar, it was just like the one in pulau ubin lol o.o
and at the top we decided to take pictures
the first thing i said when i was at the top was " any games station here ?" LOL!
i forgot who but someone told me, "yup our game is to jump down frm here and see who survive" lol hehe .

we encountered another grp when we were going down and we continued our journey~
jojojohanna ! :) said hi to me in her cute voice ((:
yeah hehe and during the last part of our journey we started to sing songs lol !!!
it was super fun hehe ! :D
we sang old school songs like westlife, nsync, backstreet boys, lemon tree, peng you, many many more as well as ba luo bo HAHAHA !! super funny !

at the end of the journey we raaaaaaaaan and screaaaam ! :DDD
so pretty ! they decorated the path by placing lightsticks and candles at the side of the walkway ! :D
awww if somebody proposed to me like dis i would say yes♥ immediately ! erhem XP hhahahaha !

we didnt even sat down larh ! we took pictures and we sang ba luo bo + the action lmao !! hahahah
and we welcomed 3 grps !!! before we finally sat down and rested haha . the other grps rested before us lorh !
hahaha best part was when we decided to complete the ba luo bo song hahaha !! we joined in 2 by 2 lol . so funnaye !! ahhahaha !! xDDD

washed the tin cans with jeffrey and ah gong lol .
lol quite fun :)

i learnt how to wash tin cans on that day LOL .
u have to rub the base on the grass to get the soot off heehee .
and use toothpaste for stubborn stains .
ahaha wah tht guy damn strict hahaha . but i think he was more lenient with me cos i was the onli girl haha .

i think at first he kinda pek cek hahaha !!
i was rubbing off the soot with leaves initially, the soot got into my nails and i was whining about it lolol

like finally, been probably half a year !

okay i guess im not used to the holidays now, like a holiday not stained with projects and schoolwork
feel kinda useless :/
okok lets not put it so harshly wahahaha
feel kinda sian and no life to be home and just surfing the net and doing random stuffs around the house
trying to enjoy but still there's this looming feeling that i've got
PMS?! expecting the start of a new working stint ? the dark gloom that's coming ?

i've made up this list during the exams hahahaha
like whenever an idea of smth that i wanna do pops into my head, i'll jot it down in my handy dandy notebook ! hahaha
been following certain part of it, but yeah i get distracted easily XP

tmr's gonna be the 5th month that Tian Hong and i are together !!!

soon, its gonna be half a year ! :D
its been great for the previous few months just spending almost everyday tgt haha .

went to fontaine's house today !
sort of like a little TR02 party, chilling out and gave pei yi a little belated birthday surpirse ! :)

people present were : fontaine, shimin, kaiching, pei yi, yingying, jing yi, cedric, yonghan, richard, chenghian, shu yi, samantha, hwee hien and not to forget me ! haha

met jingyi, went to shop around westmall and saw kai ching :]
so we purposely " bumped into her " hahahaha and we waited for ying ying tgt while i drank my paopaocha~ lol:]
hahahaha like super damn funny and high
i bought this ladybird costume for my to be nephew/niece ! hehehehehe awwwww ! :D
like super cute !!! :D
there were also tigger, spiderman, bumble bee and more~
though i wont get to see it unless in pictures .

working working working .
wads the point ?
seems like no fun to me now .
the novelty has worn off
its been boring at work
its a discouraging day
there are no motivations
a slow day with minor mishaps
but i received a compliment from a difficult customer
and i ate waffles, lol
no news today, controlling myself, would u sms me ?
i wont, i wont . i've been losing this game every time
now i shall wait and see
though im waiting like wan die le

so i thought about my working experience
and i came up with this :
what i learnt frrom working in sportslink sun plaza :

-speak with confidence even though u may not really know what u're talking about
-speak loud and clear so customers can hear
-know ur products
-be professional
-manage cashier job
-u can be friendly
-diff customers use diff styles
-there are certain work terminologies
-loads of stories, funny moments, funny customers, cute children, strange customers, stalkers zz
-how to do certain things (certain techniques)
-ppl ask about certain new products out in the market u have to noe ( update urselves beyond work )
-ppl ask u about the background of certain products and u dunno u have to bluff ur way through and sound convincing lol
-watch out for shoplifters
-spot diff types of customers
-learn to have fun ! :)

of cos there are many more things to just these and some of the things i've not been able to achieve hahahah

and on sunday, some interesting things that happened were:

Just a more peaceful afternoon .

just now at TTSH, i realised that the mortuary is right above the radiotherapy centre !!!!
ahahahhaa omggggggggg and i've been going there everyday and going to go there like almost everyday ???????
hah, nvm la i didnt get the creeps even though its the 7th lunar month
but anyway, the radiotherapy centre has a pathway thats full of mirror and its kinda nice
but yeah i dont dare to take picture :X
its a warmly lit corridor with intricate design like some nice house u noe
and then there's rows of mirrors at the sides
nice jiu shi le la, i like :D
but scary at the same time

okay so on thursday i had lunch with peiyi, jingyi and foongoi at canteen 3
den horrrrrrrrrrrr i stood up and wanted to go to the toilet after jingyi
and omg my laptop somehow dropped and it hit my toes directly
pain like hell seriousy !!!!!!
and the super evil foong oi and pei yi laugh until like dunno wad !

kaykay just now went to bukit batok for bowling but it was full so we decided to play pool instead
and the pool guy is really nice cos he gave us discounts ! :D

been cutting slack on blogging recently
my holiday was spent all out of my house except for one day
and for tht one day i procrastinated and wasted one day of my life which i'll never be getting back

so last week i was at work, saturdays spent with nemo bloopbloop :))
and it was quite fun actually !! :D
besides that one of the days we had 4m3 meet up, i joined them after dinner, ohhhhhhhhhh soso miss them ):
havent seen ms ng in quite a while ):
and of cos i spent our 2nd month with my dar ♥

lets see ... i shall elaborate a small bit on saturday's mini games !
havent exercised in quite some while as u can see haha !!
i joined captain's ball and yeahhh it was damn fun !
cos we won all except 2 of the games and for 2 of the games we lost by 1 point onli (:

as usual, played a few games, did some activities and balloon sculpturing :)

hahahahaa omg during the activity, farvin suddenly wanted to remove my rainbow coloured shoelaces
and rina joined in
so they pulled my shoelaces out
and i was like trapped bewtween them
haahahaah i could onli look at tian hong helplessly
shoutting and laughing ? hehe
yaya in the end while we were dancing my shoelaces got stepped on by them and myself hahaha
it was quite fun though xDDD

moving on to balloon sculpturing, rina and i exchanged shoelaces for 1 shoe
hahahaha we told each other we would take picture and exchange it back at the end of the day
in the end, we forgot about it !

its consuming a huge part of my time
the opportunity coost would be:
i would see my family and friends lesser
my household would be more messy than usual
the travel time is really loooong

but even if i wont get to work with tian hong, i can still have glimpses of him ? heeeeh heh

the activities sound interesting enough :D
and i wanna attend the camp !
but then hor ..
im afraid that i wont be able to commit to ndp
and if i cant commit and i go for the camp
i'll be snatching up places with others and den its kinda wasted or unfair ?

i went to the columbarium like few weeks or days back right ?
and guess wad i saw ??
someone drew an arrow an pointed to this person and wrote something

alright ! the induction camp is overrrr~
okay im not happy that its over
just happy that i've made awesome friends !! :D

kay so we were going home in the mrt

well he had an asthma attack

woots today was kinda great .
bcom ended early (Y) !!!!
so we had this 5 hr break before the next lesson !

we dragged like 1 hr .. so we had 4 hrs left .. ate lunch + walked over to bukit timah plaza prob bout 1hr .. played pool ! ( foong oi, cindy, pak wei n i :) den played 1 round of table soccer .. walked back .. go library fart .. then finally went to lessons ..

and i guess this was one of the rare fun CATS lessons we had
hahaha yay :D
cos our group , same people from pool, managed first in the building blocks things .. for the words i think we werent first ... but i think we did quite well ... * clap clap * :D

well well .. the thing about it was as the same group again, we actually screwed our CATS ppt the last time LOL .

1. How's poly life ?

Okay great . thought it sucked cos of all the projects+presentations+reports all at one go .
well there's like lots of new people u meet so its like fun .
had a strong feel about transferring to jc .
still thinking about it .
probably will think about it all my life .
but still, khazin was telling me that jc life is going to be revising schoolwork everyday and blahs .
so oh well, im treasuring what i have now .

and its like totally 3/4 of 4m3 is going to SP !!! wth ! and they said they wanted to go NP .. so we chose it in July .. den in the end all go SP ! wth !! no more together ! ):):):

poly life has a lot of freedom + free time + new friends + loads more ( np offers u smth xtra .-)
everyday the break time is like 2hrs ! but 2 hrs past fast .. and so does ur day .. except during lessons ..

i miss sec sch and organised lifestyle . cos i cant exercise self control .

i started school on 18th jan ........
because i joined through DPA ..
DPA is direct poly admission ...
NPP is ngee ann preparatory programme ..
those who joined through DPA has to attend NPP .
we take modules from the normal curriculum so we wont have to take them again and we will have more free time during the normal curriculum .

took a peek into Festive hotel Singapore through some vids and baby my dream's coming through !
hahaha when i was in primary 4 . i used to had a lot of free time and my mind would roam
used to think that i was the kid of a CEO of a hotel and wilber pan is my bro hahahahaha xD (okay pardon me)
and i would stay in this 2 storey hotel room in Shangri la sentosa hotel
hahhah and my "bro" would come n visit me and stay in the room beside mine
and we will have a connecting balcony
